Who we are

Uncommitted Recruits is an independent college athletic recruiting advisory service. For anything in this policy, contact us at max@uncommittedrecruits.com or 646-239-3888.

What we collect

What you send us: If you submit the contact form, we receive the parent name, email address, and the sport and position you enter, plus the phone number, athlete graduation year, state and message if you choose to provide them. If you email or call us instead, we receive whatever you put in that email or tell us on the phone.
What clients share during an engagement: If you become a client, we will receive more: film, transcripts or test scores, correspondence with coaches, and details about your family's financial situation if you ask for the aid-fit analysis. We ask for these only when they are needed for work you have engaged us to do.
Server logs: Our web server records standard request logs — IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page and the browser's user-agent string. These are used for security and to keep the site working, and are not combined with form submissions to build a profile of you.

What we do not do

We do not use analytics, advertising, retargeting or social tracking on this site. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated before it does.
This site sets no cookies of its own. Fonts, images and stylesheets are served from our own server, not from a third-party network.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not pass it to camps, showcases, travel organizations, recruiting platforms or colleges. Our independence pledge is a privacy commitment as much as a financial one.
We do not add you to a marketing list from the contact form. There is no newsletter.

Why we hold it, and for how long

We use what you send to reply to your enquiry and, if you engage us, to do the work you have paid for. We keep enquiries that do not become engagements for up to two years, because recruiting timelines are long and families often come back a year later. Client records are kept for as long as the engagement runs plus seven years, so that we can answer questions about work we did and meet tax and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

Who else touches it

Formspree: The contact form is processed by Formspree, which receives your submission and forwards it to us by email. Their handling of it is governed by their own privacy policy.
Email and phone: Our email provider and telephone carrier necessarily process messages and calls in the ordinary course of delivering them.
Professional advisers: Our accountant sees invoicing records. They do not see film, transcripts or the contents of your enquiry.

That is the complete list. We do not use advertising platforms, data brokers or lead-generation services, and we never will — a business that sells parent contact details to the recruiting industry could not honestly make the independence pledge on the front page.

Young people

This site and this form are addressed to parents and guardians, not to athletes. We ask that the contact form be completed by an adult, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from a child under 13.

During an engagement we do handle information about a specific young person — their film, their academic record, their correspondence with coaches. We receive that from the parent or guardian who engaged us, we use it only for that engagement, and we do not publish it, use it in marketing or share it with anyone outside the list above. If you believe a child has sent us information directly, email us and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email max@uncommittedrecruits.com and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge, and asking will not affect any work we are doing for you. Depending on where you live you may have additional statutory rights; we will honour those requests on the same basis regardless.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Enquiries and client records are held in access-controlled accounts. No system is perfect, and we would rather say that than imply otherwise — please do not send anything through the contact form that you would not be comfortable sending by ordinary email. Financial details for the aid-fit analysis are collected during an engagement, not through this form.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. If the change is significant — new processors, analytics, or a new use of client information — we will say so in plain language here rather than quietly editing a clause.
